Westwind

The forgotten adventure series Westwind came and went like the wind in the mid 70’s. It told the story of the Andrews family, led by marine biologist mother Kate and photographer dad Steve. The Andrews constantly managed to find new adventures and get involved in some kind of trouble while traveling around the Hawaiian islands in their boat, the Westwind. Though it was aimed toward the family-friendly crowd, it never managed to catch on like more popular aquatic adventures such as Sea Hunt or Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and was cancelled after it’s first season.  Scintillating brunette Kimberly Beck, who played Robin, went on to do other projects like Drive-in Skinema classic Massacre at Central High. While this wasn’t necessarily a move to bigger and better things, her bra busters were bigger and better than anything else you were likely to see on the outdoor screen back in the day. Though her nude scenes in Massacre were dark and grainy, the lighting was more than sufficient to behold the amplitude of her air bags.
