Firefly (2002-2003)

There are all sorts of TV shows people think were cancelled far too soon, but none top those listicles the way Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon’s cult sci-fi series Firefly does! And rightfully so! Fox's beloved space adventure takes place in 2517, after the earths' been abandoned and we've inhabited a bunch of different planets. A powerful group of countries formed "The Alliance" and demanded every planet fall under their rule, which led to a Civil War the Alliance won and the other side, including our hero Mal Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) lost. After taking the L, Mal's been captaining the Serenity, a smuggling ship that specializes in going out to the furthest planets which are home to cannibals called reavers. At some point, they come in contact with the sexy psychic on the run from the Alliance, River (Summer Glau) and decide to help her. Her powers grow more powerful, and The Alliance would really like her back. But Mal has plenty of dead pals that the Alliance killed over the years, and he's not going to let her become another. Fans wanted so much more, but we only got one season and a wrapup movie called Serenity (2005). Plus, there were not titties! Yes, its single season on Fox had no nudity but featured the talents of boob-tube babes Gina Torres, Jewel Staite, Summer Glau, and racktastic redhead Christina Hendricks, future star of the AMC hit Mad Men. Yes, Firefly had the biggest boobed firecrotch scorching up Fox well before AMC! Sexy highlights of these fly chicks include Katherine Kendall and Morena Baccarin giving each other some very sensual massages, a bareback shot of Melinda Clarke while she rides a dude, and Summer Glau lying on the ground naked but hiding all the good parts. But nothing will ever beat seeing Christina's can bounce as Mal tackles her to the ground in just a bra. That'll have you unzipping your Fire-fly!
