Set in the beautiful Turkish mountains, the emotional drama Watchtower (2012) follows two people in search of refuge from the world and their problems. There’s Nihat (Olgun Simsek), a carpenter by trade that has chosen to take on a completely different job as a forest fire watcher, placing him in a mountainside watchtower, virtual isolated from the immediate world. While he seems content with his new job, there’s a rage and an anguish stewing inside of him because of a recent tragedy in his life. And then there is Seher (Nilay Erdonmez), a young woman who has taken a job as a bus hostess, spending most of her time in a small room at a remote bus terminal located near Nihat’s watchtower. Seher is dealing with her own problems, one that has to do with being impregnated by uncle, and she is well-along in her pregnancy. It’s only a matter of time before circumstances bring together Nihat and Seher, eventually changing each other’s shattered lives. Despite the heavy emotions that hover over the film like a lead apron, Nilay Erdonmez manages to show her breasts in multiple scenes, but she unfortunately shows them one at a time. She also serves up some seat meat as she takes an outdoors shower. Thanks to Nilay’s knockers, she’ll put more than a watchtower in your pants!
