The Filipino drama Warat (2000) follows the exploits of Rex (Jomari Yllana) and Rica (Joyce Jimenez). When Rex’s gay adoptive father is killed and Rex is blamed the couple goes on the run. Crime and passion ensue until the day comes when (SURPRISE!) it is revealed that they have the same biological father. The tropical setting and plot of pretty young things on a crime spree provide plenty of steamy, sultry, taboo-infested fun within the confines of a PG-13 rating.
