London lass Verna Harvey enjoyed a brief but mamorable career during the skinematic seventies. After getting cast on the British series Merry-Go-Round (1968), she appeared on the big (That’ll Be the Day) and small (Man at the Top) screens. Under the direction of Michael Winner, the brunette ingénue made her movie debut in the titillating chiller diller The Nightcomers (1971) with Marlon Brando, Stephanie Beacham, and Anna Palk. At the risk of repeating herself, Ms. Harvey re-teamed with Beacham for the Italian crime flick Super Bitch (1973), and worked again with Winner on the pic Chato’s Land (1972). The latter is a PG-rated western featuring Charles Bronson, Sonia Rangan, and Verna’s bare breasts! In fact, all it takes is one glance at Ms. Harvey’s heavy chest weapons to unload the sex pistol in your pants! Even though she didn’t flash her ass in Assassin (1973), Verna did thrill fans with her pretty presence in this political thriller. The buxom babe then bounced back to the boob tube where she revealed her sense of humor (among other things) on the English sitcom Beryl’s Lot (1973-1975). Through the years, the hottie sizzled on TV via guest spots on several series (Crime of Passion, Six Days of Justice, Dixon of Dock Green, Shadows). She also worked in front of the camera (The Gathering Storm) and behind the scenes (Mercy Mission: The Rescue of Flight 771) on television movies.
