Without Greece, we couldn’t enjoy shots of Ouzo, Kumquat liqueur, or the nation’s most mouthwatering form of intoxication: actress Vanna Barba. Also known as Vasiliki Barba, the Grecian screen goddess entranced fans with her long dark hair, kissable lips and pair of big brown eyes. Back in the early ’80s, the exotic hottie started her career as a beauty queen. Soon, she parlayed her camera-ready looks into acting when she was cast as a prostitute in To Stigma tis enohis (1985). With the drama M’agapas (1989), the gorgeous ingenue made her nude debut — showing viewers her bare boobs, bush and booty in the bath! Next came Ante geia (1990). The rousing adventure was made arousing when Vanna revealed her ravishing rack! Through the years, the skinternational starlet became a staple on Greek TV. She’s appeared on several series, from Akti miaouli (1991) and I agapi tis gatas (1991-1992) to En Iordani (2002) and Riders of Pylos (2011) with a host of other shows (I Dipsa, Jeavaeri, San himoniatiki liakada, San paramythi, To Simadi tou erota, To 13o Kivotio, and Spiti dipla sti thalassa, To) in between. Of course, here at Skin Central, we’re partial to Vanna’s part as Va-Va-Vassilissa in the Italian war flick Mediterraneo (1991). The R rated comedy features Ms. Barba’s sense of humor as well as her naked knockers which she touts while making out with some lucky dude. The motion picture won an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, plus a statuette in Mr. Skin’s pants!
