Vampires: The Turning (2005)

Having a girlfriend is full of unforeseen and perplexing dilemmas. Not only is the female of the species apt to withhold her affections, let her looks slip, and return pleasantries with hostility depending on such uncontrollable circumstances as the lunar cycle, but you can’t even take her on an Asian vacation without risking the disaster that befalls the noble hero of Vampires: The Turning (2005). His ungrateful and rash chick runs off after a senseless argument and is kidnapped by a Thai gang of motorcycle-riding vampires. Lucky for the straying lass, her guy is a Muy Thai specialist who goes through all the trouble of aligning himself with an association of benign vampires and also with a mob of human vampire vigilantes and enlists their aid and expertise in tracking down and exterminating the blood-sucking thugs who have abducted his lady love. Does she appreciate all the trouble her man goes through to save her skin? Perhaps, but only until the next lunar cycle.
