Va savoir (2001)

Va Savoir (2001) is a French comedy with a bit of crime through in for grit to help us digest this French entertainment by director Jacques Rivette. Translated into English as Who Knows? we know it’s going to be hot thanks to the casting of Jeanne Balibar as an actress who is returning to Paris after a three-year absence. She’s back for work, which sets the stage to a variety of minor dramas and romances, but all that is only a distraction from the main event. That, of course, is Jeanne, who turns a shower scene into a wet wonderland of wantoness. Her small wonders are a gift from the gods of lust, and we owe those guys a thank-you note.
