Unrest (2006)

Abra cadavra! Gross Anatomy gets grody when everybody who touches a body comes to a bad end in Unrest (2006), the story of four med-school students whose cadaver is not like the other stiffs. "I think there's something wrong with my corpse," says delish Corri English, a comely co-ed who believes that she can feel the spirit of her dearly dissected. Corri begins to see images she believes are connected to the cadaver, and she and her fellow student (and love interest) Scot Davis set out to discover where the departed departed from, and why her soul is not yet at rest. Director Jason Todd Ipson actually went to medical school, and it shows--the depiction of the human body after death is clinical to the point of being a gross-out, which is a novel turn for a gross-out flick. Word has it that the corpse in Unrest--nicknamed Norma--is even the real deal.
