Two Ways to Go West

Two Ways to Go West (2020) may sound like nonsense advice that you'd get from a fortune cookie but it's a movie. I know, you thought for a minute there that we were changing formats and reviewing fortune cookies, didn't you? It's okay, that seems like a solid business model and one worth chucking our entire business out the window to pursue. This is probably particularly confusing if you're reading this on April 1, because then you won't be certain whether we're telling the truth or not. The truth is, we're not changing formats and that Two Ways to Go West is a movie that Mr. Skin loves, but would love even more if there were nudity. A down on his luck actor named Gavin (James Liddell) drives to Vegas for his friend Shane's (Drew Kenney) bachelor party, where he also reunites with Marty (Paul Gennaro), two friends who respect him for following his dreams, but resent that those dreams took him to LA, away from them. As tensions rise in the room where they await the arrival of a stripper (Levy Tran), old wounds will be reopened and the three friends may find that they regret any sort of reunion more than they regret ever going their separate ways in the first place. While Levy Tran does eventually show up for the party and shakes her booty, she does keep it covered which makes the scene just slightly less sexy! There may be Two Ways to Go West, but there's only one direction your hand is heading... South!
