Tod einer Brieftaube (2012)

Twin Peaks goes Teutonic in the quirky mystery-comedy series Tod finer Brieftaube (2012). Private Finn Zehender (Hinnerk Schönemann) has settled in to a nice, peaceful routine in his cottage in rural Germany, but his tranquility is disrupted when a local manufacturing magnate's son is kidnapped. Dragged out of retirement, Zehender must rely on the quirky inhabitants of his adopted hometown to solve the case, a process that is as maddening as it is enlightening. Spankfully, however, not all the locals are hostile-- some, like the bare-assed Katja Danowski, are downright friendly. That'll plump your bratwurst!
