Tin Can (2022)

This claustrophobic sci-fi thriller sees our world plagued by a fungal infection killing off the population by attaching to human skin, growing a shell-like casing, and eventually cutting off the blood supply of its host. A woman (Anna Hopkins) who’s ex-husband is suffering from the disease may have found the cure, but before it can be tested she’s attacked, only to wake up in one of the preservation pods of her own design. While a good chunk of the film is just Anna inside the pod, we eventually learn who’s on the outside and what’s happening, in addition to being treated to Kristin Langille’s back and sideboob as she bangs a guy in bed. Now that’s the real cure for what ails ya!
