The witches in Jeff Leroy’s occult horror feature The Witch’s Sabbath (2005) have effectively brushed up their tactics for the twenty-first century. Instead of zipping around on broomsticks, the witches in this fright flick capture their prey by tempting them with pole dances. That’s right--with a quota of 666 souls to capture before Halloween, the witches figure that the best way to do it is to open a strip club and lure in unsuspecting men. Every time a drooling lecher leans over to tuck a buck under a G-string, voila! He’s toast. It’s a fine plan for evildoing, and an even better plot for an erotic horror classic. Leroy gets ample mileage out of bad girls Syn DeVil, Kiki Encina, and Lisa Sparxxx. Scope these ladies of the night if you truly dare.
