The Westies (2026)

Named after the Irish-American crime gang operating in Hell’s Kitchen at the same time the area was dominated by the Italian Mafia, this period drama stars Oscar winner J.K. Simmons as Eamon Sweeney, an Irish godfather rising to prominence in the neighborhood thanks to the building of the new Jacob Javits Convention Center. But the feds are sniffing around, and his bond with his protege, Jimmy Roarke (Tom Brittney), is growing tenuous as Jimmy becomes more disillusioned, especially when ordered to murder his best friend, Mickey Flanagan (Stanley Morgan), even though Mickey’s PTSD from the Vietnam War has made him a loose cannon with violent tendencies. Jimmy’s also worried because his girlfriend, Bridget (Sarah Bolger), has fallen back into the IRA thanks to her ex Brendan Cahill (Allen Leech). The show treats us to a look at Sarah in her bra and undies in the premiere, but the best bit of skin in the first episode comes from nudecomer Hilary McCormack. We see a hint of side booty followed by her bare breasts reflected in a mirror as she talks to a cocaine-snorting mafioso. Those are the only breasties in Westies… so far!
