The Ring Finger (2005)

Before joining Barbara Bach, Britt Ekland, Diana Rigg, Eva Green, Famke Janssen, Grace Jones, Halle Berry, Honor Blackman, Jane Seymour, Léa Seydoux, Luciana Paluzzi, Madeline Smith, Maud Adams, Michelle Yeoh, Sophie Marceau, and Ursula Andress as one of skinema’s Bond Girls, Olga (Quantum of Solace) Kurylenko sparkled in The Ring Finger (2005). Also known as L’Annulaire, Diane Bertrand’s French flick is based on a novel by Japanese writer Yōko Ogawa. The strange story centers around a young woman named Iris (Kurylenko) whose situation goes from bad to worse. While working in a bottle washing factory, she loses the tip of her ring finger in an accident. As such, the pretty protagonist can no longer perform her job. After moving to a nearby port city, Iris lands a position at a mysterious laboratory where clients get “specimens” preserved. Speaking of specimens, the sexy brunette begins to have an intense affair with her boss (Marc Barbé). Well, that’s one way to get ahead. In fact, Mr. Skin feels a raise in his pants! This is especially the case when the Ukraine-born starlet repeatedly reveals her perfect pair of bouldas, her post-Soviet seat meat, and the carefully trimmed landing strip on her sputnik. Indeed, Ms. Kurylenko goes full frontal 58 minutes into the movie. If that’s not arousing enough, check out her beautiful bod at the 1:05-, 1:10- and 1:13-minute marks. Although this thriller wasn’t seen by many American film critics, it has what it takes to merit a huge release — in your jeans!
