In the murky sub-rosa world of state-sponsored assassins and the renegade terrorists they track, the hunter is likely to become the prey, and then he will end up as the distressed, pursued hero of a movie like The Point Men (2001), abandoned by his government handlers, written off as a renegade and a lunatic. Action stalwart Christopher Lambert is a man in need of a safe house, a lethal weapon, and a lucky shot as the members of his hand-picked team of terror killers are being wiped out one by one. Lambert is stuck in a hazy nether region where everyone he meets is suspect, his closest friends may be his deadliest enemies, and even when the villains are killed, they don’t seem to stay dead.
