The Phenom (2016)

A young man with tremendous baseball talent including a 100 mph fastball lives out his dream of becoming a professional baseball player, but has serious problems dealing with his success in The Phenom (2016). Hopper Gibson (Johnny Simmons) is a young, talented baseball prospect with an electric fastball and bright career ahead of him. When he suddenly loses his ability to control his pitches he is sent down to the minors where a sports psychologist helps him confront his anger towards his overbearing father and the pressure he feels to not let everyone down.
