Review

A struggling ex-con (Laure Calamy) who works at an anchovy-packing plant and who’s girlfriend (Suzanne Clement) is still in prison contacts Serge (Jacques Weber), a rich man living on the tiny island of Porquerolles in the south of France, and introduces herself as Stéphane, the prodigal child he had out of wedlock years ago. She then shows up at his palatial estate to the chagrin of his wife Louise (Dominique Blanc) and their daughter George (Doria Tillier). Stéphane decides to lie to the family and tell them she owns the anchovy-packing plant, cozying up to Serge just as the rest of his family is ready to have him declared incompetent to run his affairs. Sure, Stéphane’s motives are suspicious, but honestly, the entire dysfunctional family seems steeped in deceit. While we get at least one conjugal visit between Laure and Suzanne, it isn’t until Laure’s washing herself in the bathtub in the mansion that we see her bare breasts (and so does her dad! Weird!) while Suzanne's sucksacks come out during a prison shower fight with Blandine Laignel. That scene could be the origin of your boner!
