California....California...here we cum! After the demise of Beverly Hills, 90210, the boob tube was noticeably lacking in West Coast based teenager trash. In 2003 the geniuses at Fox decided to change that, and The O.C. was born. The basic premise is that a kid from the wrong side of the tracks named Ryan (Benjamin McKenzie) moves in with a well-to-do Southern California family, bringing his juvenile record and a heap of trouble with him. While hanging out with the nerdy fellow adoptee Seth (Adam Brody) in his new digs, Ryan starts hooking up with girl-next-door Marissa (Mischa Barton), and trying to help Seth land Marissa's way too hot for him best friend Summer (Rachel Bilson). Angsty grimaces are exchanged, the legendary "welcome to the O.C. bitch!" punch is thrown, and short-short skirts are donned at every turn. Of course there are the usual plotlines: love triangles, teenage pregnancies, drug overdoses, hot moms, stripper aunts, gay dads--oh, and lots and lots of teenage sex. Even the parents like to get it on in this steamy primetime soaper. Whether it's Aya Sumika as a bikini baring surfer babe, Kristen Renton as a busty chick seducing Seth, Autumn Reeser rinsing a window with her rump, or Jaime King covering herself in whipped cream, there is plenty to C that will give you the big O! But this one was all about the eternal question: blonde or brunette? Bilson was the brunette, who lit up our lives with every swimsuit appearance. But Miss Barton was the one who had a brief nip slip while making out in a hot tub. You could always count on the sun kissed women of Orange County to look incredible on The O.C.
