The November Man (2014)

Sure, there are blockbusters released in the summer and Oscar hopefuls held back for December. Nevertheless, the world responds to November flicks —  from the Italian/French drama Un Bellissimo novembre (1968) showcasing Gina Lollobrigida to America’s Sweet November (2001) starring Charlize Theron. Next came Spain’s Noviembre (2003), Germany’s Novemberkind (2008) and November (2017) from the Netherlands, Poland and Estonia. Of course, we can’t forget The November Man (2014). This action pic re-teams Pierce Brosnan with his Dante’s Peak director Roger Donaldson. Based on Bill Granger’s novel “There Are No Spies” (1987), the R-rated thriller places former CIA operative Peter Devereaux (Brosnan) in a titillating tale of revenge. The plot kicks in when Peter is summoned to Russia to finally complete a case that he wasn’t able to crack during his time in the agency. But he quickly discovers the man behind the botched mission is David Mason (Luke Bracey), an operative who wants Devereaux dead! Needless to say, twists and turns ensue while beautiful babes doff their duds. In fact, the lovely Eliza Taylor makes her dong-awaited nude debut! As Sarah, she bares her boobs and butt while getting it on with Bracey. Plus, there’s uncredited nudity from a stripper at the 41-minute mark. If that’s not hot enough, the movie also includes a subplot that has a New York Times journalist (Patrick Kennedy) tracking down refugee case worker Alice Fournier (Olga Kurylenko). Considering how sexy her cleavage looks in a skimpy getup, Mr. Skin would love to track her down too!
