The New Look (2024-)

A luxurious period drama from Apple TV+ with acting greats Juliette Binoche and Ben Mendelsohn playing rival French fashion designers Coco Chanel and Christian Dior. The series goes in to each designers complicated history with he Nazis during World War II and then follows each of them as they gain their post-war fame and success. “The New Look” is that of Dior’s, which Chanel often criticized as being too lavish and constricting, while her fashion goal tended to be creating women’s clothes that were both functional and elegant. Maisie Williams steps into the role of Dior’s sister Catherine - and out of her clothes for a brief peek at her topless peaks in the premiere episode. Those are the only looks we’re interested in!
