The Nail Gun Massacre (1985)

Tobe Hooper had already cornered the market on chainsaws by the mid-1980s, which meant that aspiring horror directors Bill Leslie and Terry Lofton had to go with a different set of power tools. Lo and behold, The Nail Gun Massacre (1985) was born. The gruesome exploitation film gets grinding when an innocent young teen is assaulted in a vile fashion by a crew of leering construction workers. Vengeance arrives, however, in the form of a masked marauder whose weapon of choice spits nine-inch spikes into the handymen’s brains. Leslie and Lofton’s film is unabashedly lurid, and the thrills carry over to amorous encounters with B-movie beauties Staci Gordon, Kit Mitchell, and Shelly York, whose sex scenes are punctuated by the sound of power tools. Talk about getting nailed!
