The Murderous Trance (2018)

The Murderous Trance (2018) follows a criminal investigator named Anders Olsen who starts to solve a case that follows a bank robber who robbed and shot two bank clerks in the city of Copenhagen. After he was arrested, he said that he did not act alone, but eyewitnesses say that the robber acted like he was in a trance. Now the investigators are wondering exactly what he means when he says that he did not act alone. It is now believed that the criminal was hypnotized by a prison inmate. If that is true, then how exactly can they prove that and bring everyone to justice here? Our investigator Olsen tries to get help from well-known psychologists and learns more about different forms of mental manipulation. While he does this, he doesn't realize that his wife is being seduced by the hypnotizer in question behind his back which brings the investigator a lot closer to the drama than he previously thought that he would be.
