Sweetpea (2024)

Perennial wallflower Rhiannon Lewis (Ella Purnell) has been bullied and trod upon just about her entire existence. It started in school, where queen bee Julia Blenkinsop (Nicôle Lecky) and her fellow mean girls made her life a living hell to the point where she started pulling out her own hair. Then there’s the sister who ignores her, the mom who left them, the sour mini-market clerk, the men who ignore her after sex, and every single person at her job who overlooks her day in and day out. Deep down she wants to kill them all, but she doesn’t, she just swallows down her rage and takes it. That is until the death of her father, whose last words were about how she needs to stand up to people who take the piss out of her. And then her dog dies. The last straw is her sister hiring Julia as the real estate agent to help sell their dad’s house - the house Rhiannon still lives in. She heads to a nightclub to confront Julia and we get a peek at Nicôle’s naturals in her low-cut dress, right a guy LITERALLY takes a piss on her and Rhiannon finally decides to take matters into her own hands and starts putting some check marks on that growing hit list of hers.
