Stopmotion (2024)

Ella Blake (Aisling Francisosi) is a talented artist assisting her mother Suzanne (Stella Gonet), a famous stop-motion animator whose crippling arthritis has left her unable to complete her final film. Mom is completely overbearing, and even after she dies, Ella feels compelled to finish her work despite wanting to strike out on her own. Her boyfriend Tom (Tom York) helps her move into a new apartment and it’s there that she encounters a mysterious child (Caoilinn Springall) who suggests Ella create a new film about a young girl who is lost in the woods being stalked by an evil creature called the Ash Man. Ella gets way too immersed in the creepy project until her own life becomes a macabre nightmare, but thankfully we get a brief look at Aisling in her panties and another in a towel before that happens.
