Sideline Secrets (2004)

James Townshend plays an A-grade high-school senior with a beautiful girlfriend, a successful family, and a carefully hidden secret in the coming-of-age drama Sideline Secrets (2004). To the untrained observer, Devon Tyler (Townshend) seems to have everything going for him––with his parents and loving girlfriend for support, he should have no trouble finding success in college and beyond. Behind closed doors, however, Tyler’s family life is a wreck, his girlfriend overbearing, and his growing sexual feelings toward a male friend (Alex Wilson) are becoming problematic. Viewers will find themselves cheering Tyler to pull himself together––after all, the quicker he can come to terms with his sexuality, the sooner the babes in his life will hit the open market. Cheri Lynn, Summer Smith, and Ashley Steel all prove to be desirable catches for ogling males of the right persuasion.
