Shattered (2007)

Gerard Butler and Maria Bello seem to have it all. Gerry's got a good job, their marriage is in tip-top shape, they've recently added a new daughter to the mix, and, hello, she's Maria Bello! What else do you need to know? All cannot stay rosy, though, and the couple ends up Shattered (2007). That's because dastardly Pierce Brosnan has kidnapped their kiddo and knows everything there is to know about the family trio. Out to use that info to put the parents through the wringer, Pierce threatens to kill the daughter if they don't comply with his every demand. He's not your typical small-fry snatcher—his interest isn't in money so much as in pure psycho thrill. But Pierce's sadism is no match for the fierceness of a family looking out for its own, and he's about to learn just how far mommy and daddy will go to protect the fruit of their loins.
