Like many actresses working out of Canada, Shary Guthrie made her name with appearances on syndicated sci-fi thrillers. She was a regular on Earth: Final Conflict and guested on shows such as Highlander: The Raven--all of which made good use of her quirky beauty and MILFish bod. Still, Shary never got a chance to share her primal sexiness until an episode of the vaguely feminist sex series Bliss. The episode “Tying Up Gerald” stars Shary as an interior decorator who gets to know her husband’s interiors once she starts palling around with his favorite dominatrix. Katya Gardner and Shary make for a titillating pair as they explore new levels of kink with the lucky hubby. Hollywood’s still been slow to get it on for Guthrie, though. At least she made it to the multiplexes with a small role when Drew Barrymore crossed the border to shoot Fever Pitch (2005).
