With a name like “Crystal Ball,” hitwoman Natasha Henstridge should’ve known she’d end up with amnesia right before she was supposed to kill bookstore owner Angus MacFadyen. Instead, they fall in love, and it takes a while before she remembers that she’s been hired to kill the guy. Naturally, plenty of double-crosses ensue throughout Second Skin (2000). Peter Fonda is a lot of fun as a sadistic gangster, but it’s left to Henstridge--and her heinie--to make all the various seductions believable.
