Based on a transgressive work by Alberto Bevilacqua, Scandalous Crimes (1999) tackles the sexual themes of its source novel with a similar sense of sly forthrightness. Sensual Natacha Amal stars as Margot, a young woman who’s trained herself to use her feminine charms as a deadly weapon. Determined to locate the man responsible for a ghastly series of assaults, Margot dangles herself in front of men like bait, hoping to attract the right kind of unwanted attention. Naturally, the slender beauty carries out the bulk of her mission wearing a modicum of clothing, allowing plenty of opportunities to scope her exquisite foxiness.
