The Honourable Woman is a mini-series about Nessa Stein (Maggie Gyllenhaal), a woman who inherits her father's weapons business when he dies. Rather than using her position to further promote war, however, she decides to use her newly found political cache as a means of trying to bring peace to the conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians. She quickly learns, however, what these warring cultures think of her position as a woman and how little they value anything she has to say. There are a few promising elements involved in this production that lead us to believe there may be some nudity before all is said and done. First of all, it's a BBC production, and the censors are much more lax in Europe. Second of all, it starts Maggie Gyllenhaal, who has never been shy about showing a little skin. Sadly, all we've gotten so far is a quick shot of Maggie in a bra as she gets changed. Hopefully they can get this thing cooking in the next few episodes... that would be the honorable thing to do!
