Rebecca Wood almost made it big in showbusiness. Unfortunately, it's a tough industry no matter how sexy you are. But looks were definitely not Rebecca's problem as she gave us more wood than the Pacific Northwest in just a handful of movie roles. Once known as Rebecca Wood-Sharkey due to her marriage and eventual divorce from actor Ray Sharkey, Rebecca got her start on an episode of the motorcycle cop show Street Hawk, before she joined Eric Stoltz and Laura Dern in Mask (1985). But when we look back on Rebecca's career, far and away her best role came when she made her titty-flashing debut in 1985’s Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. Rebecca plays a waitress named Lana whose boyfriend shows up to her restaurant to take his girl out on a date. Since there's a more than twenty percent chance he's going to get to play just the tip, Lana decides she needs to change out of her uniform, so she goes in the back and unzips her top while yelling "it's showtime." It's more like Skinemax though, since we get to see Rebecca's rack in all its glory, punctuated by a pearl necklace that gives the whole affair just a touch of class. That magnificent chest soon gets an axe put through it though, which is a kind of ironic way for the movie to kill off Miss Wood. Rebecca only stuck around Hollywood for three more movies: The Forgotten One (1989) which wouldn't have been forgotten had Rebecca taken her clothes off, Barbarian Queen II: The Empress Strikes Back (1990) and Switch (1991) before Rebecca Wood went against the grain and disappeared from Hollywood once it was clear her career wasn't going the way she hoped. Miss Wood only returned to the screen to talk about her time at Camp Crystal Lake in Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th (2013). Still, with just one role Rebecca Wood stained our pants!
