Raquel got her start in a church theater group but quickly graduated into working in the prestigious Contemporary Theater Company in her hometown. When you're this fine and this talented though, it's just a matter of time before you get discovered and put on the screen somewhere and Raquel cut her teeth in the small screen with plenty of work in Brazilian telenovelas first and foremost. She got her first gig on the popular and long running series Two Faces, where she did an impressive 74 episodes, as well as long runs on Cat's Cradle, Destiny River, and Gabriela. In 2012, she had her first part in a feature film in Billi Pig, and then did the Rom-Com The Dognapper (2013) the following year. She comes our way though with a Nude-Comer debut for the ages on the 2021 Amazon Prime series DOM. She takes on the role of Jasmin, the main squeeze of the leader of the criminal organization that took over the cocaine scene in Rio in the early 2000s.
