Queen Marie of Romania (2019)

The Romanian period drama Queen Marie of Romania (2019) is set during the tumultuous period in the country's history immediately following World War I. Roxana Lupu stars as the titular queen, whose most important first act as queen was a trip to Paris for the 1919 unification talks. As the granddaughter of the late Queen Victoria, the hopes of her countrymen rest on her diplomatic shoulders as she angles for her country's place in the future of Europe. Once she secures her country's future, she enjoys her reign over the country, eventually making her way to America in October of 1926. If you're not well versed in the political state of Romania during the early 20th century, this flick might be exactly what you've been craving! While this may sound like some sort of stodgy and buttoned down period piece, it's got a lot more going on than your average stuffy and lifeless historical drama. First of all, Roxana Lupu is an absolute vision as the queen, nicely showing off her figure in period appropriate garb! However, it's her co-star Maria Muller who steals the show—and the monarchy—right out from under her! 25 minutes into the flick, the magnificently sexy Maria bares her breasts while banging a guy in bed! She then flaunts her fantastic fanny while getting out of bed to put on a robe! While we'd have liked another nude scene from her—or even one from the gorgeous Roxana—we're not about to look a gift horse in the mouth! Maria is the Queen of our Parts!
