Proxima (2019)

Who doesn't love a good astronaut movie?  Also, who doesn't love the insanely sexy Eva Green???  The answer is no one, so strap into your five point harness in the next rocket ship to planet Big-Juggs-Centari because you're about to explode harder than a Saturn V rocket with Proxima (2019)!  In this Sci-Fi drama, bordering on being a real-life story of our inevitable trip to Mars, we follow French astronaut Sarah Loreau (Eva Green), as she prepares to take the year long journey to the red planet and back as a member of the European Space Agency's flight Proxima.  Sarah is the only woman on the flight crew and as they train for the harsh reality of living in space for an extended period of time, it's not her fear of the unknown or the physical and mental stresses of space travel, it's the 8 year-old daughter she is leaving behind that causes the most concern for her.  As she ramps up an almost around the clock training regimen, she begins to feel like she is neglecting her daughter, who is now in the care of her father most of the time as they have been separated for some time.  The arduous journey to the stars is going to prove that a mother's love knows no bounds, even in the vastness of space!  Per usual, the engaging Eva Green lights up the screen in this one and even more usual of her film credits, she gets naked on several occasions!  Multiple shower scenes, multiple locker room changes, and of course she's hotter than rocket fuel in every single one of them!  Enjoy Proxima and mind your "proxima-ty" to some tissues when Eva hits the showers and Skinvision kicks in!
