Paprika (1991)

When a movie is subtitled “Life in a Brothel,” as Paprika (1991) is, well, then life is good. What else should an audience expect from director Tinto Brass, infamous helmsman of Caliguia (1979)? This tale follows Deborah Caprioglio as the spicy title character, a simple country girl who works at the chicken ranch to make the local cocks crow. And from the beginning to the end of this skinfest, Deborah is delightfully de-robed, with bush, butt, and her pendulous jugs going ding to your dong. Valentine Demy keeps things hairy with more muff-see scenes, and Nina Soldano goes topless during a sexy 69 scene. Rosanna Gavinel gets hot and heavy with Deborah when the two both go full-frontal and ass-out while a dude watches them canoodle, and Luciana Cirenei takes a bath with her boobs out, stopping to finger bang Deborah while she sudses up. Last but not least, Martine Brochard dons a strap-on over her skivvies to give it to Deborah the D—dildo, that is. Dab a little paprika on as you choke your chicken and enjoy! Paprika is the kind of flick that makes Mr. Skin very happy. This is because it's a movie that both provokes thought and hard-ons with equal force. The performances are very good and elevate this flick far above what one could describe as pornography.
