Born on February 8, 1962, in Freehold Township, New Jersey, Pamela Springsteen is the baby sister of the famed musician Bruce Springsteen. Both bound for stardom, Pamela and her brother moved to California with their family at an early age, which is where Pamela took up acting. Nobody could blame Pamela for trying to tap some of that Bruce juice by touring with her brother during the 1980s. She had us tapping some juices ourselves with her film debut as a cheerleader in Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). She didn't leap to stardom like co-stars Nicolas Cage and Sean Penn, but Pamela got us reckless in the theater with another cheerleading turn in Reckless (1984). She also showed up in the classic Modern Girls (1986) before finally making her own mark as the slasher "Angela" in Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers (1988) and Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland (1988). After shooting those two films back-to-back, Pamela made us all happy campers with some skinny dipping in Dixie Lanes (1988). Some of Pamela's other onscreen credits include works such as Cagney & Lacey (1982), My Mother's Secret Life (1984), Hardcastle and McCormick (1984), Tina Turner: What's Love Got to Do with It (1984), My Science Project (1985), Family Ties (1985), Modern Girls (1986), Scenes from the Goldmine (1987), Dixie Lanes (1988), Fast Food (1989), and The Gumshoe Kid (1990). Pamela soon retired from acting, though, and is now established as a successful photographer. Ms. Springsteen's old flicks will still put a spring in your step (or in your pants).
