The stylish, techno-scored Thai thriller One Take Only (2001) tracks the outlaw adventures of Bank (Pavarit Mongkolpisit), a two-bit dope-pusher, and Som (Wanatchada Siwapornchai), a teenage hooker with an addiction to danger. The crooked couple meets violently and only ups the action factor from there, careening toward the fabled final score that will elevate them to the low-life forever. Of course, their best-laid plans lead to a worst-case scenario, but not before we get a great gander at Wanatchada in the raw.
