Not Suitable for Work (2026)

2025 brought us Adults and I Love LA, and now it’s Mindy Kaling’s turn to try and deliver yet another “twenty-somethings trying to make it in a big city” series for 2026. Like in the American OG, Friends, we’re taken to Manhattan to meet five Gen Zers kick-starting their careers. When Abby (Avantika), the put-upon assistant to a celebrity stylist (Constance Wu), breaks up with her boyfriend, she enlists her bestie AJ (Ella Hunt) to move in with her. AJ is an overworked junior analyst at a bank whose coworker, Davis (Will Angus), develops a crush on her. Living across the hall from the gals are med student and wannabe actor Kel (Nicholas Duvernay) and Josh (Jack Martin), who uses his network CEO dad to secure a PA job at an investigative news show hosted by Victor Garber. He’s so concerned about nailing the interview, he gets distracted while nailing his big-chested girlfriend (played by Stella Everett). If only she’d lose that bra and make their sex scene really NSFW!
