As We See It (2022)

No Nudity

Review

Jason Katims, the creator of Friday Night Lights and Parenthood, is back with his latest series As We See It focused on three adults living on the spectrum. Three twenty-something friends since childhood, Jack (Rick Glassman), Violet (Sue Ann Pien), and Harrison (Albert Rutecki), share an apartment together in the Canoga Park neighborhood in LA where they struggle with the weight of the world through the help of their aide Mandy (Sosie Bacon, daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick) a med school student who took this job until she can find something she "really wants to do" with her life. Jack is perhaps the most brilliant of the three and works as a computer programmer, but his lack of people skills have caused him to lose several jobs in a row. Meanwhile Violet takes a job at Arbys, where she falls for a hunky co-worker, while Harrison is dealing with some agoraphobia and the fact that his wealthy parents have enabled him to stay indoors for almost his entire life. Together these three unique individuals will learn a bit about the world and themselves along the way, with the help of Mandy, who is sure to discover that this might actually be her calling in life. Since Katims mostly works in the world of network television, it doesn't look like this series is going to have much in the way of skin. In the debut episode, we get a sexy scene where Vella Lovell appears in bed with a guy in her underwear, but As We See It, this show could really use some nudity!
