Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Nina Moran has been gliding on wheels since she bought a used skateboard at a yard sale for a $1 when she was 12 years old. She hooked up with several other chick boarders, and together they formed a crew they dubbed Skate Kitchen. While riding the subway with her lady gang, filmmaker Crystal Moselle heard Nina and her friends talking, noticed their boards, and asked if she could do a film about them. The result was Skate Kitchen (2018), which premiered at Sundance Film Festival, and was released by Magnolia Pictures. Nina played the role of Kurt, and together with her friends, they played fictionalized versions of themselves. In one scene, the girls, along with one male friend, are all chilling and smoking weed and getting amorous. They begin a make-out orgy, taking turns kissing and feeling each other up. Several skater girls lose their shirts, including Nina, whose tiny tata can be seen in the background as she gets busy with a hottie. The movie turned out to be popular with critics and film festivals, and HBO eventually got wind of the flick; they created a spin-off series, Betty in 2020-2021, with all the same players. The big difference? Instead of Nina’s character being named Kurt, it was changed to Kirt. Outside of her burgeoning acting career, Nina is still a die-hard skateboarder who encourages girls and women to skate in the male-dominated sport, and has held conferences and made appearances all over the country to promote the gliding of wheels under females.
