It didn't take a fortune teller to realize Melissa Prophet was bound for showbiz stardom. The daughter of crooner John Profeta, AKA "Johnny Prophet" Melissa took home Miss California in 1977, before moving on to acting with a role as a Gargon woman in the sci-fi jokefest Quark, a year later. Probably most mam-orable as a go-to B-movie babe in the 80s, after appearing in TV series like CHiPs and California Fever, Prophet’s elegant set of eye-pokers get some solid exposure in the 1982 B-movie Time Walker. It's a goofball horror flick about an alien hiding in King Tut's tomb who gets unleashed and terrorizes a town. The only thing keeping movie goers from feeling they completely wasted their time was a scene where a pasty-faced perv peeks on sweet Melissa as she stands topless in front of a mirror, and a too brief for the water to warm up shower scene. It’s also been rumored that Prophet was a well-known Hollywood madame in the 80s, working for a while as the “house girl” to a wealthy international financier named Adnan Khashoggi, procuring women to bring to his home and inject some lust into the rich man’s lonelier nights. At least, that's the word from Heidi Fleiss: Hollywood Madam (1995) director Ivan Nagy. Whether or not that’s the truth of it, with a pair of mams like this madame’s, one has to wonder why a man would want for other women when he could just take a piece of the Prophet. Melissa moved on to roles in stuff like Invasion U.S.A (1985), and Action Jackson (1988) and after posing for Playboy in 1990, was set to blow up after roles in both Goodfellas (1990) and Casino (1995). Instead, Melissa rooled the dice by ditching acting and created the Baumgarten/Prophet Entertainment Company, where Prophet makes her money representing huge celebrities. No matter what happens with her business, she can always come back to acting. The bottom line is, if she shows her cans and bottom again, we'll pay good money for it. You'll never go broke making a profit, and you can never go wrong showing the beautiful tits of Melissa Prophet!
