Born in our nation's capital during the election cycle that eventually saw George W. Bush catapulted into the White House for the first time, Megan Lawless is a mixed race beauty born to a Taiwanese mother and Irish-American father. Prior to the summer of 2026, Megan was probably best known for playing one of Amandla Stenberg's classmates in the hit teen film The Hate U Give (2018) or the 2022 ripped-from-the-headlines miniseries The Girl from Plainville. However, her main supporting role in the horror sensation Obsession (2026) brought Megan into the stratosphere, playing the shy Sarah, daughter of music shop owner Carter (Andy Richter) in the film. Spoiler Alert: Her character arc of hoping to get into a college is more heartbreaking in light of what becomes of her character, and though we see her character's nude body sitting dead in a chair late in the film, the director confirmed it's actually an expensive sex doll and not Megan.
