The lives of two eminent German scientists are chronicled in the lavish biopic Measuring the World (Die Vermessung der Welt) (2012). In 19th century Brunswick, Alexander von Humboldt (Albrecht Schuch) grows up amidst wealth and privilege while Carl Friedrich Gauss (Florian David Fitz) is a shy, nerdy outcast. But both grow up to accomplish great things as Gauss invents numbers theory and von Humboldt explores unknown regions of South America. And with accomplishment comes ass-complishment, as a full-frontal Anastasiia Kyryliuk and topless Vicky Krieps and Tatiana Merizalde Dobles show their bare beakers to the famous scientists. We've Measured the World, and it measures about 7".
