Matriarch (2022)

Matriarch (2022) is an intense psychological horror film that follows successful urbanite Laura (Jemima Rooper) who suffers a near fatal overdose in the film's opening moments. Lucky to escape this episode with her life intact, Laura decides to give her city life a rest and return to the small village where she grew up under the roof of a cold and distant mother (Kate Dickie). The more time that Laura spends in her hometown trying to unravel the mysteries of her own upbringing, she begins to notice that seemingly everyone in town treats her mother as their own, soon discovering that not everything is as it seems and she might be in even more danger than she initially thought! Spoilers ahead for anyone hoping to enjoy this flick before you enjoy the nudity, but Kate Dickie is revealed to possess some sort of supernatural powers, lactating milk from her nipples after exposing her breasts at a church ceremony attended by dozens of nude uncredited extras!
