A young artist is driven between his buttoned-up girlfriend and her best friend--a raven-haired beauty with an insatiable appetite for sex--in Liberated (2003), a taboo-busting drama from the Philippines. While Trixie (Francine Prieto) anxiously awaits her invitation to the altar, boyfriend Tony (Christian Vasquez) grows transfixed by the nymphomaniac Pauline (Diana Zubiri). As Tony and Pauline begin meeting for passionate trysts, the sharp edges of their romantic triangle leave social convention in tatters. Not unexpectedly, Zubiri reveals the most flesh in her numerous meetings with Vasquez, but Prieto is hardly immodest in a trio of breast-baring encounters.
