Looking flirtatiously perfect in just about any era she’s ever been cast in, the lovely fair-skinned Leonie Benesch is one actress who seems to love her period pieces. The German native, also a flawless English speaker, has made quite a name for herself as the recurring Princess Cecilie in Netflix’s hit series The Crown, takes a trip to 1944 to be Hildegard Roth in the film The Turncoat (2020), goes back even further to 1942 to play Elsa in Persian Lessons (2020), and still further to 1913 for her role as Eva in The White Ribbon (2009). She also plays Abigail Fix in 2021’s Around The World In 80 Days television series, a role that has switched from the classic Jules Verne story’s male inspector to a female journalist, but still set in the days of hot-air balloon travel. So it comes as no surprise the 5’3”, wide-eyed thespian tried her first skinactive role in a period film set in 1929 Berlin, portraying Greta Overbeck in the 2017-2020 German TV series Babylon Berlin. While the lingerie covered a lot more in decades past (although admittedly, that green bralet is oddly exciting with its silhouette-revealing material), bathtubs, and the required nakedness within, are always the same, and in Babylon Berlin, Leonie is a perfect, wet-skinned, fully bare, bathing beauty with floating, rosy-peaked, slippery sweeties. In 2020’s AMC+ Spy City thriller series set in the 1960s’ Leonie’s character Eliza Hahn reveals more of that full-coverage underwear, but now that we’ve seen the goods, we know exactly what’s under those pointed bra cups!
