Le déclic (1985)

It’s been said before with good cause that the greatest minds of humanity are too busy trying to cure cancer or bring about the destruction of all mankind to do something constructive. For a look at the better place the world could be if only science were truly at the service of man, in particular of the male libido, check out the altered reality of Le Déclic (1985). In English this movie is titled The Turn-On, and the miracle of its fiction is a simple remote-control device that switches on the erotic desires of any woman it is pointed at. Perhaps a little more thought could have gone into a shut-off valve, but there’s no need to scrap development of the entire invention due to just one small design flaw.
