The prejudice against these creative and vital men extends even to cinematic offerings such as Ladykiller (1996), in which grizzled veteran actor Ben Gazzara suspects an accomplished and youthful camera-wielding carnalist of being a serial killer. How many more delightfully disrobed damsels must be brutally slain before Gazzara can see past his own lonely decline and spot the real murderer?
