When Parisian architect Marc (Vincent Lindon) shaves the hairy expanse between his nose and upper lip in the existential drama La Moustache (2005), he expects that his wife (Emmanuelle Devos) and their friends will at least notice the change. But they don't. In fact, everyone Marc meets insists that he never had a mustache. Is he going mad? Did he only imagine taking a razor to his facial fur? These and other questions are raised by this curious arthouse hit, and one crucial query does get answered: What does Emmanuelle Devos look like with her clothes off?
